そして、彼らは神の箱を運び入れ、ダビデがそのために張った天幕の真ん中に置き、全焼のいけにえと和解のいけにえを神の前に捧げました。
2 ダビデは全焼のいけにえと和解のいけにえを捧げ終わると、主の御名によって民を祝福しました。
3 そして、イスラエル人全員に、男も女も、一斤のパンと、鍋で作った菓子と、甘い菓子を配りました。
4 そして、彼は、レビ人の一部を、主の箱の前で奉仕し、イスラエルの神、主を祝い、感謝し、賛美するように任命しました。
5 首領アサフ、次にゼカリヤ、エイエル、シェミラモテ、エヒエル、マティテヤ、エリアブ、ベナヤ、オベデ・エドム、エイエルが詩琴と立琴を持ちました。
そして、アサフはシンバルを持って大声で鳴らしました。
6 また、祭司ベナヤとヤハジエルはラッパを吹き続けて、神の契約の箱の前にいました。
7 そして、その日、ダビデはアサフとその兄弟達の手によって、まず主に感謝を捧げるよう定めました。
8 おお！主に感謝し、御名を呼び求めなさい！神の御業を人々に知らせなさい！
9 神に向かって歌い、神に賛美を歌いなさい！
神のすべての驚くべき御業について話しなさい！
10 主の聖なる御名によって栄光あれ！主を求める者の心を喜ばせなさい！
11 あなたがたは主御自身と主の御力を求めなさい！絶えず神の御顔を求めなさい！
12 主がなさった驚くべき御業、主の奇跡、そして、主の御口の裁きを思い出しなさい！
13 イスラエルの子孫よ！神の僕よ！ヤコブの子よ！主に選ばれた者達よ！
14 このお方は私達の神、主である。神の裁きは全地にある。
15 主の契約を永遠に覚えていなさい！主が千代に命じられた言葉です。
16 神がアブラハムと結んだ契約、およびイサクに対する誓い。
17 そして、神は、ヤコブに対しては法令として、イスラエルに対しては永遠の契約としてそれを定めました。
18 「わたしはカナンの地、あなたの相続財産の多くをあなたに与えます。」と言われる。
19 あなたがたが数人で、いや、非常に少数でそこに滞在していた時、
20 そして、彼らが国から国へと、また王国から民へと渡り歩いた時、
21 主は、誰にも彼らに悪いことをさせませんでした。
そうです。彼らのために、このお方は王達を戒めました。
22 「 わたしの油そそがれた者達に触れてはならない。
わたしの預言者達に危害を加えてはならない。」
23 全地よ！主に向かって歌え！日々神の救いを宣言しなさい！
24 諸国民の間で神の栄光を、すべての民の間でその驚くべき御業を宣べ伝えなさい！
25 主は偉大であり、高く評価されるべきです。
彼はまた、あらゆる神よりも恐れられるべき存在です。
26 諸国民の神々はみな無価値なものだからです。しかし、主は天を造られました。
27 名誉と威厳は神の御前にあります。力と喜びがこのお方の代わりにあります。
28 諸国民よ！主に帰せよ！栄光と力を主に帰せよ！
29 御名にふさわしい栄光を主に帰しなさい！
捧げ物を持って神の前に来なさい！ 聖性の美しさをもって主を礼拝しなさい！
30 全地よ！神の前に震えよ！
世界もまた、動かすことができないことが確立されています。
31 天は喜び、地は喜びなさい！
そして、諸国の民の間で「主が統治される。」と言わせなさい！
32 海とその満ちる音を轟かせよ！
野原とそこにあるすべてのものを歓喜させましょう。
33 その時、木の木々は主の前で喜び歌うでしょう。
主は地を裁くために来られるからです。
34 ああ、主に感謝せよ！神は善い方だからです。神の憐れみは永遠に続くからです。
35 そして、あなたがたはこう言いなさい！
「私達の救いの神よ！私達を救ってください！
私達を集めて諸国民から救い出してください！
それは私達があなたの聖なる御名に感謝し、あなたの賛美に勝利することができるからです。」
36 イスラエルの神、主は永遠から永遠までほめたたえられますように！
すると、民は皆、「アーメン！」と言って主を賛美しました。
37 こうして、アサフとその兄弟達は、日々の仕事に応じて箱の前で絶えず奉仕するために、そこ、主の契約の箱の前を出ました。
38 オベデ・エドムとその兄弟達、三人と八人。
オベデ・エドムもジェディトゥンとホサの息子で門番です。
39 祭司ザドクとその兄弟の祭司達は、ギベオンにある高き所にある主の幕屋の前で、
40 主がイスラエルに命じられた主の律法に書かれているすべてのとおりに、朝夕絶えず全焼のいけにえの祭壇の上で主に全焼のいけにえを捧げなければならない。
41 また、ヘマンとエドトゥン、および選ばれた残りの者達も一緒で、名前を挙げて主に感謝を捧げました。主の憐れみは永遠に続くからです。
42 ヘマンとエドトゥンも彼らと一緒に、ラッパやシンバル、楽器を使って神の歌を大声で響かせました。エドトゥンの息子達は門のところにいます。
43 そこで、民は皆、おのおの自分の家に帰っていきました。
そして、ダビデは家を祝福するために戻ってきました。

3 そして、イスラエルのひとりひとりみなに、男にも女にも、それぞれ、丸型のパン、なつめやしの菓子、干しぶどうの菓子を分け与えた。
4 それから、レビ人の中にある者達を、主の箱の前で仕えさせ、イスラエルの神、主を覚えて感謝し、ほめたたえるようにした。
5 かしらはアサフ、彼に次ぐ者は、ゼカリヤ、エイエル、シェミラモテ、エヒエル、マティテヤ、エリアブ、ベナヤ、オベデ・エドム、エイエル。彼らは十弦の琴や、立琴などの楽器を携え、アサフはシンバルを響かせた。
6 祭司ベナヤとヤハジエルは、ラッパを携え、常に神の契約の箱の前にいた。
7 その日その時、ダビデは初めてアサフとその兄弟達を用いて、主をほめたたえた。
8 主に感謝して、御名を呼び求めよ。そのみわざを国々の民の中に知らせよ。
9 主に歌え、主にほめ歌を歌え。そのすべての奇しいみわざに思いを潜めよ。
10 主の聖なる名を誇りとせよ。主を慕い求める者の心を喜ばせよ。
11 主とその御力を尋ね求めよ。絶えず御顔を慕い求めよ。
12 主が行われた奇しいみわざを思い起こせ。その奇蹟と御口のさばきとを。
13 主のしもべイスラエルのすえよ。主に選ばれた者、ヤコブの子らよ。
14 この方こそ、私達の神、主。そのさばきは全地にわたる。
15 覚えよ。主の契約を永遠に。お命じになったみことばは千代にも及ぶ。
16 その契約はアブラハムと結んだもの、イサクへの誓い。
17 主はヤコブのためにそれをおきてとして立て、イスラエルに対する永遠の契約とされた。
18 そのとき主は仰せられた。「わたしはあなたがたの相続地としてあなたに、カナンの地を与える。」
19 そのころ、あなたがたの数は少なかった。まことにわずかで、そのうえそこでは、寄留の他国人であった。
20 彼らは、国から国へ、一つの王国から他の民へと渡り歩いた。
21 しかし主は、だれにも彼らをしいたげさせず、かえって、彼らのために王達を責められた。
22 「わたしの油そそがれた者達に触れるな。わたしの預言者達に危害を加えるな。」
23 全地よ。主に歌え。日から日へと、御救いの良い知らせを告げよ。
24 主の栄光を国々の中で語り告げよ。その奇しいみわざを、すべての国々の民の中で。
25 まことに主は大いなる方、大いに賛美されるべき方。すべての神々にまさって恐れられる方だ。
26 まことに、国々の民の神々はみな、むなしい。しかし主は天をお造りになった。
27 尊厳と威光は御前にあり、力と歓喜はみもとにある。
28 国々の民の所属よ。主に捧げよ。栄光と力を主に捧げよ。
29 御名の栄光を主に捧げよ。捧げ物を携えて、御前に行け。聖なる飾り物を着けて、主にひれ伏せ。
30 全地よ。主の御前に、おののけ、まことに、世界は堅く建てられ、揺らぐことはない。
31 天は喜び、地は、こおどりせよ。国々の中で言え。主は王である。
32 海とそれに満ちているものは鳴りとどろけ。野とその中にあるものはみな、勝ち誇れ。
33 そのとき、森の木々も、主の御前で、喜び歌おう。確かに、主は地をさばくために来られる。
34 主に感謝せよ。主はまことにいつくしみ深い。その恵みは永遠まで。
35 言え。「私達の救いの神よ。私達をお救い下さい。国々から私達を集め、私達を救い出してください。あなたの聖なる御名に感謝し、あなたの誉れを誇るために。」
36 ほむべきかな。イスラエルの神、主。永遠から、永遠まで。それから、すべての民はアーメンと言い、主をほめたたえた。
37 彼は、その場所、すなわち、主の契約の箱の前に、アサフとその兄弟達をとどめておき、毎日の日課として、常に箱の前で仕えさせた。
38 オペデ・エドムと彼らの兄弟達は六十八人いたが、エドトンの子オベデ・エドムとホサを門衛とした。

41 彼らとともにヘマン、エドトン、その他、はっきりと名を示された者で、選ばれた者達を置き、主をほめたたえさせた。「まことに主の恵みは、永遠まで。」
42 ヘマンとエドトンの手には、歌う者達のためにラッパとシンバルとがあり、また、神の歌に用いる楽器があった。また、エドトンの子らは門にいた。
43 民がみなそれぞれ自分の家に帰ってから、ダビデは自分の家族を祝福するために戻って行った。
And they brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God.
2 And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
3 And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a cake made in a pan, and a sweet cake.
4 And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to celebrate and to thank and praise the LORD, the God of Israel:
5 Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with psalteries and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;
6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 Then on that day did David first ordain to give thanks unto the LORD, by the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
8 O give thanks unto the LORD, call upon His name; make known His doings among the peoples.
9 Sing unto Him, sing praises unto Him; speak ye of all His marvellous works.
10 Glory ye in His holy name; let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
11 Seek ye the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.
12 Remember His marvellous works that He hath done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth;
13 O ye seed of Israel His servant, ye children of Jacob, His chosen ones.
14 He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
15 Remember His covenant for ever, the word which He commanded to a thousand generations;
16 [The covenant] which He made with Abraham, and His oath unto Isaac;
17 And He established it unto Jacob for a statute, to Israel for an everlasting covenant;
18 Saying: 'Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.'
19 When ye were but a few men in number, yea, very few, and sojourners in it,
20 And when they went about from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people,
21 He suffered no man to do them wrong, yea, for their sake He reproved kings:
22 'Touch not Mine anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.'
23 Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; proclaim His salvation from day to day.
24 Declare His glory among the nations, His marvellous works among all the peoples.
25 For great is the LORD, and highly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all gods.
26 For all the gods of the peoples are things of nought; but the LORD made the heavens.
27 Honour and majesty are before Him; strength and gladness are in His place.
28 Ascribe unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the peoples, ascribe unto the LORD glory and strength.
29 Ascribe unto the LORD the glory due unto His name; bring an offering, and come before Him; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
30 Tremble before Him, all the earth; the world also is established that it cannot be moved.
31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; and let them say among the nations: 'The LORD reigneth.'
32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; let the field exult, and all that is therein;
33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing for joy, before the LORD, for He is come to judge the earth.
34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever.
35 And say ye: 'Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks unto Thy holy name, that we may triumph in Thy praise.'
36 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. And all the people said: 'Amen,' and praised the LORD.
37 So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required;
38 and Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jedithun and Hosah to be door-keepers;
39 and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,
40 to offer burnt-offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of burnt-offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the Law of the LORD, which He commanded unto Israel;
41 and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because His mercy endureth for ever;
42 and with them Heman and Jeduthun, to sound aloud with trumpets and cymbals, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.
43 And all the people departed every man to his house; and David returned to bless his house.
