そして、彼は私を神殿に連れて行き、柱を測った。一方の側は幅六キュビト、もう一方の側も幅六キュビトで、これは天幕の幅であった。
1 彼は私を本堂へ連れて行った。その壁柱を測ると、その幅は両側とも六キュビトであった。これが壁柱の幅であった。
入口の幅は十キュビト、入口の両側は、一方の側が五キュビト、もう一方の側が五キュビトであった。彼がその長さを測ると四十キュビト、幅は二十キュビトであった。
2 入口の幅は十キュビト、入口の両わきの壁はそれぞれ五キュビトであり、本堂の長さを測ると、四十キュビト、幅は二十キュビトであった。
それから、彼は中に入って、入口の柱をそれぞれ二キュビト、入口を六キュビト、入口の幅を七キュビト測った。
3 彼が奥に入り、入口の壁柱を測ると、二キュビト、入口は六キュビト、入口の両わきの壁は七キュビトであった。
そして、彼は神殿の前でその長さを二十キュビト、幅を二十キュビト測り、私に言った。「ここは至聖所である。」
4 彼はまた、本堂に面して長さ二十キュビト、幅二十キュビトを測って、私に「これが至聖所だ」と言った。
それから、彼は建物の壁を六キュビト測った。それぞれの脇間の幅は、建物の周囲を四方から四キュビトずつ囲んでいた。
5 彼が神殿の壁を測ると、六キュビト、神殿の周囲を囲む階段式の脇間の幅は四キュビトであった。
脇間は三十三重に重なっていて、建物の壁には、脇間の周囲に軒先が付けられていた。これは、脇間が建物の中でつかまり、建物の壁につかまらないようにするためであった。
6 階段式の脇間は三段に重なり、各段に三十あった。神殿の周囲の階段式の脇間は壁に固定してささえられ、神殿の壁は梁でささえられていなかった。
脇間は、回りを高く回るにつれて広くなっていた。建物の回りの曲がりくねった道は、建物の周囲を高く回っていたからである。したがって、建物の幅は上に向かって続き、一番下の段から一番上の段まで、真ん中を通って上がれるのである。
7 階段式の脇間の幅は階段を上るごとに広くなっていた。それは神殿の周囲にあるらせん階段を上るごとに、その段の幅も広くなり、その下の段から上の段へは中央の階段を通って上るのである。
また、建物の周囲には高い地下室があり、脇間の土台は、つなぎ目まで六キュビトの葦であった。
8 私は神殿の回りが高くなっているのを見た。階段式の脇間の土台は、長めの六キュビトの測りざおいっぱいであった。
脇間の外壁の幅は五キュビトであった。神殿に属する脇間の構造によって残されたものも同様であった。
9 階段式の脇間の外側の壁の厚さは五キュビトであった。神殿の階段式の脇間と、
神殿の周囲は、どの側も、部屋と部屋の間には幅が二十キュビトあった。
10 部屋との間には空地があり、それが神殿の周囲を幅二十キュビトで囲んでいた。
脇間の扉は、残された場所に向かっており、一つの扉は北に、もう一つの扉は南に面していた。残された場所の幅は、周囲五キュビトであった。
11 階段式の脇間の入口は空地のほうに向き、一つの入口は北向きで、他の入口は南のほうに向き、その空地は幅五キュビトで周囲を囲んでいた。
西側の聖所の前にあった建物は、幅七十キュビトであった。建物の壁は、周囲五キュビトの厚さで、長さは九十キュビトであった。
12 西側の聖域にある建物は、その奥行が七十キュビト、その建物の回りの壁は、厚さ五キュビト、その間口は九十キュビトであった。
彼が神殿を測ると、長さは百キュビトであった。聖所と建物およびその壁の長さは、百キュビトであった。
13 彼が神殿を測ると、長さは百キュビト、その聖域と建物とその壁とで、長さ百キュビトであった。
また、神殿の正面と聖所の東側の幅は、百キュビトであった。
14 また、東側の聖域と神殿に面する幅も百キュビトであった。
彼は、その奥にある聖所の前で、建物の長さと、その両側の回廊の長さを測ったが、百キュビトであった。神殿と、内陣と、中庭の玄関、
15 彼が神殿の裏にある聖域に面した建物の長さと、両側の回廊とを測ると、百キュビトであった。本堂の内側と、庭の玄関の間、
柱と、狭い窓と、その三つの周囲にある回廊、柱の向かい側には、地面から窓まで、周囲に木の張り板が張られ、窓は覆われていた。
16 門口と格子窓と三段になった回廊とは、床から窓まで羽目板が張り巡らさせていた。また、窓にはおおいがあった。
戸口の上の空間から内陣まで、また外側まで、また内外の周囲の壁全体に、寸法どおりに。
17 入口の上部にも、神殿の内側にも外側にも、これを囲むすべての壁の内側にも外側にも彫刻がしてあり、
それはケルビムとなつめやしの木で造られ、ケルビムとケルビムの間にはなつめやしの木があり、ケルビムにはそれぞれ二つの顔があった。
18 ケルビムと、なつめやしの木とが彫刻してあった。なつめやしの木はケルブとケルブとの間にあり、おのおのケルブには二つの顔があった。
一方のなつめやしの木に向かっては人の顔があり、もう一方のなつめやしの木に向かっては若いライオンの顔があった。神殿の周囲全体にこのように造られた。
19 人間の顔は一方のなつめやしの木に向かい、若い獅子の顔は他方のなつめやしの木に向かい、このように、神殿全体の回りに彫刻してあった。
地面から扉の上までケルビムと棕櫚の木が造られ、神殿の壁にも同様に造られた。
20 床から入口の上まで、本堂の壁にケルビムとなつめやしの木が彫刻してあった。
神殿の柱は四角く、聖所の正面は、この外観のような外観であった。
21 本堂の戸口の柱は四角で、至聖所の前には何かに似たものがあった。
祭壇は高さ三キュビト、長さ二キュビトで、木造であった。その隅も木造であった。祭壇の長さと壁も木造であった。そして彼は私に言った。「これは主の前の机である。」
22 それは木の祭壇のようであり、高さは三キュビト、長さは二キュビトで、その四隅も台も側面も木でできていた。彼は私に、「これが主の前にある机だ」と言った。
神殿と聖所には二つの扉があった。
23 また、本堂と至聖所にそれぞれ二つのとびらがあり、
扉にはそれぞれ二枚の扉があり、回転する二枚の扉があった。一方の扉には二枚の扉、他方の扉には二枚の扉があった。
24 それらのとびらにはそれぞれ二つの戸が折りたたむようになっていた。すなわち、一つのとびらには二つの戸があり、ほかのとびらにも二つの戸があった。
神殿の扉には、壁に造られたのと同じケルビムと棕櫚の木が造られていた。玄関の外の面には太い木の梁があった。
25 本堂のとびらには、壁に彫刻されていたのと同じようなケルビムとなつめやしの木が彫刻してあった。外側の玄関の間の前には木のひさしがあった。
玄関の両側には狭い窓と棕櫚の木があり、建物の支えと太い梁もあった。
26 玄関の間の両わきの壁には格子窓となつめやしの木があり、神殿の階段式の脇間とひさしも同様であった。

10 部屋との間には空地があり、それが神殿の周囲を幅二十キュビトで囲んでいた。
11 階段式の脇間の入口は空地のほうに向き、一つの入口は北向きで、他の入口は南のほうに向き、その空地は幅五キュビトで周囲を囲んでいた。
12 西側の聖域にある建物は、その奥行が七十キュビト、その建物の回りの壁は、厚さ五キュビト、その間口は九十キュビトであった。
13 彼が神殿を測ると、長さは百キュビト、その聖域と建物とその壁とで、長さ百キュビトであった。
14 また、東側の聖域と神殿に面する幅も百キュビトであった。
15 彼が神殿の裏にある聖域に面した建物の長さと、両側の回廊とを測ると、百キュビトであった。本堂の内側と、庭の玄関の間、
16 門口と格子窓と三段になった回廊とは、床から窓まで羽目板が張り巡らさせていた。また、窓にはおおいがあった。
17 入口の上部にも、神殿の内側にも外側にも、これを囲むすべての壁の内側にも外側にも彫刻がしてあり、
18 ケルビムと、なつめやしの木とが彫刻してあった。なつめやしの木はケルブとケルブとの間にあり、おのおのケルブには二つの顔があった。
19 人間の顔は一方のなつめやしの木に向かい、若い獅子の顔は他方のなつめやしの木に向かい、このように、神殿全体の回りに彫刻してあった。
20 床から入口の上まで、本堂の壁にケルビムとなつめやしの木が彫刻してあった。
21 本堂の戸口の柱は四角で、至聖所の前には何かに似たものがあった。
22 それは木の祭壇のようであり、高さは三キュビト、長さは二キュビトで、その四隅も台も側面も木でできていた。彼は私に、「これが主の前にある机だ」と言った。
23 また、本堂と至聖所にそれぞれ二つのとびらがあり、
24 それらのとびらにはそれぞれ二つの戸が折りたたむようになっていた。すなわち、一つのとびらには二つの戸があり、ほかのとびらにも二つの戸があった。
25 本堂のとびらには、壁に彫刻されていたのと同じようなケルビムとなつめやしの木が彫刻してあった。外側の玄関の間の前には木のひさしがあった。
26 玄関の間の両わきの壁には格子窓となつめやしの木があり、神殿の階段式の脇間とひさしも同様であった。
And he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tent.
2 And the breadth of the entrance was ten cubits; and the sides of the entrance were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side; and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits, and the breadth, twenty cubits.
3 Then went he inward, and measured each post of the entrance, two cubits; and the entrance, six cubits; and the breadth of the entrance, seven cubits.
4 And he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits, and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple; and he said unto me: 'This is the most holy place.'
5 Then he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side-chamber, four cubits, round about the house on every side.
6 And the side-chambers were one over another, three and thirty times; and there were cornices in the wall which belonged to the house for the side-chambers round about, that they might have hold therein, and not have hold in the wall of the house.
7 And the side-chambers were broader as they wound about higher and higher; for the winding about of the house went higher and higher round about the house; therefore the breadth of the house continued upward; and so one went up from the lowest row to the highest by the middle.
8 I saw also that the house had a raised basement round about; the foundations of the side-chambers were a full reed of six cubits to the joining.
9 The breadth of the outer wall which belonged to the side-chambers was five cubits; and so that which was left by the structure of the side-chambers that belonged to the house.
10 And between the chambers was a breadth of twenty cubits round about the house on every side.
11 And the doors of the side-chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south; and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.
12 And the building that was before the separate place at the side toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and the length thereof ninety cubits.
13 And he measured the house, a hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, a hundred cubits long;
14 also the breadth of the face of the house and of the separate place toward the east, a hundred cubits.
15 And he measured the length of the building before the separate place which was at the back thereof, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, a hundred cubits. Now the temple, and the inner place, and the porches of the court,
16 the jambs, and the narrow windows, and the galleries, that they three had round about, over against the jambs there was a veneering of wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows; and the windows were covered;
17 to the space above the door, even unto the inner house, and without, and on all the wall round about within and without, by measure.
18 And it was made with cherubim and palm-trees; and a palm-tree was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces;
19 so that there was the face of a man toward the palm-tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm-tree on the other side; thus was it made through all the house round about.
20 From the ground unto above the door were cherubim and palm-trees made; and so on the wall of the temple.
21 As for the temple, the jambs were squared; and the face of the sanctuary had an appearance such as is the appearance.
22 The altar, three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits, was of wood, and so the corners thereof; the length thereof, and the walls thereof, were also of wood; and he said unto me: 'This is the table that is before the LORD.'
23 And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.
24 And the doors had two leaves [apiece], two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other.
25 And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubim and palm-trees, like as were made upon the walls; and there were thick beams of wood upon the face of the porch without.
26 And there were narrow windows and palm-trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch; there were also the brackets of the house, and the thick beams.
